ARTICLE II; OUR PURPOSE AND PRIORITIES
Section 1: Our Purpose.
The purpose of MBC is to bring people into a relationship with Jesus Christ and membership into His family, develop them into Christ like maturity, and equip them for their ministry in His church and their life mission in the world in order to magnify God's name.
Section 2: Our Priorities.
A. Celebrate God's Presence—Worship
Psalm 43:3 O send out Thy light and Thy truth, let them lead me; Let them bring me to Thy holy hill, And to Thy dwelling places.
Psalm 122:1 A Song of Ascents, of David. I was glad when they said to me, "Let us go to the house of the LORD."
B. Educate God's People—Discipleship
Ephesians 4:12-13 for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ;13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.
C. Communicate God's Word—Evangelism
Acts 20:24 "But I do not consider my life of any account as dear to myself, in order that I may finish my course, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify solemnly of the gospel of the grace of God.
D. Incorporate God's Family—Fellowship
Ephesians 2:19 So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints, and are of God's household.
E. Demonstrate God's Love—Maturity
Ephesians 4:12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ;
