Hello,

My name is Tobby Smith and I am the Pastor of Memorial Baptist Church, New Castle, Indiana. God called me back home (I’m a New Castle Native and a 1996 NCCHS Graduate) to serve His people here in January 2009. I’ve been in full-time pastoral ministry since 2007.

Educationally, I was blessed to go to Boyce College in Louisville, Kentucky and receive a B.A. in Biblical and Theological Studies in 2008. I’m currently pursuing dual degrees and two different academic institutions; the first, is a Masters of Theology at Liberty Theological Seminary; and the second, is an Advanced Masters of Divinity at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

I’ve been married to the love of my life, Rachel, for 13 years. Rachel is my partner in ministry who has a passion to see women develop into strong women of the truth. We’ve been given a gift from above in the form of our son, Piper, who is 3 years old. We have deep roots in the New Castle community and are extremely excited to see the Gospel of Christ advance in this city.

I would like to extend an invitation to come to Memorial Baptist Church to anyone who is interested in God-centered worship, Christ-centered evangelism, and life-long discipleship.
